Besides a buffet restaurant, the bar serves assortment of drinks all day and a Fish Restaurant opens every evening serving only the fresh catch of the day. Coconut Lagoon Resort is renowned as much for its superb Keralan cuisine (Vegetarian and non-vegetarian alike) as for its genuine set up, and is housed in one of the resort's most impressive tharawads. Known as an ettukettu, the building houses two atrium-like courtyards under an expansive tile roof erected by dozens of slim columns, a design that enables the space within to benefit from the slightest breeze.

Recreation :

Coconut Lagoon Resort has a large swimming pool with children's section and sunbathing area, a small shop and Ayurvedic centre. Dhara is a mental relaxant consisting of herbal oils and medicated buttermilk poured on the forehead and sometimes on the body as well. Good for headcahes and vatha-originated ailments. Pizhichil is a special kind of massage with herbal oils. Good for rheumatic ailments and nervous disorders.
